Twisted Tales Sleeping Beauty

Sleeping Beauty is a very simple tale.

My twist on it is that the fairies get to Aurora just after she pricks herself. But they use their magic to revive her quickly, but Malificant counters their magic and Aurora gets stuck in a sort of limbo between sleep and awake. She becomes blind with a sort of filter that makes her sees things differently to what they are. Prince Charming comes to kiss her to break the spell but she sees him as a monster and runs away from him.
Unknowing she's missed her chance, she searches the land looking for who she believes to be her Prince Charming.
